Breast Reduction of high volume (> 300g)
by breasts is supported by Social Security.

Breast ptosis surgery (breast drop) is not reimbursed.
Breast reduction involves techniques that require scars.
The goal of the practitioner is to reduce these as much as possible.
Beware, however, exclusively periareolar techniques, seductive at first glance by the myth of a single scar (around the nipple / areola), they expose to areolar enlargement and an excavated aspect of the breast called "tomato breast ". This technique is reserved for simple nipple / areolar repositioning.
In cases where the breast is flat, when it has "melted" after pregnancy, it is sometimes necessary to associate the installation of a small implant to simply fill the breast (especially in the upper part).
